As an established consulting company, Werner Consulting needs specialized software solutions that are precisely tailored to the individual requirements of their consulting processes and their clients. Standard software quickly reaches its limits here, as it cannot adequately represent the specific processes and peculiarities of the industry.

Our task is to close exactly this gap and develop individual software solutions that optimally support and efficiently design the consulting process.

Since 2008, we have developed a variety of specialized applications for Werner Consulting that are perfectly aligned with their consulting activities. Our solutions include desktop applications for internal processes as well as various extensions for JTL inventory management, enabling efficient handling of inventory management processes.

Additionally, we have developed special adaptations and modules for "osCommerce" and its successor "modified eCommerce", which have been continuously developed and optimized.

Software Development & Database Programming

As part of our long-standing collaboration with Werner Consulting, we have implemented extensive software development projects tailored to the specific requirements of the business consultancy. Our development work includes both server-based applications and desktop solutions that enable seamless integration into the existing IT landscape.

A focus of our work is the development of web-based applications with PHP and JavaScript. Database programming forms the backbone of our software solutions. With our expertise in MySQL, we have developed robust database structures that enable efficient storage and querying of large amounts of data. We place particular emphasis on optimizing database queries to ensure short response times even for complex analyses.

An essential part of our work for Werner Consulting is the development and adaptation of e-commerce solutions. We have developed extensive modules and extensions for "osCommerce" and its successor "modified eCommerce" that cover specific requirements not met by standard modules.

Through our e-commerce extensions of the shop systems, we were able to ensure seamless integration into the existing business processes of Werner Consulting and their customers. A special focus is on continuous development and adaptation to changing market requirements and legal regulations.

In parallel, we have developed various extensions for JTL inventory management that enable efficient administration and control of inventory management processes.

Special Challenges

Seamless Integration of Heterogeneous Systems

One of the biggest challenges in this project was the integration of different systems with different technologies into a coherent overall solution. Werner Consulting uses both desktop applications and web-based solutions that should communicate seamlessly with each other. The JTL inventory management with Microsoft SQL Server as a basis must be synchronized with the e-commerce platforms, while simultaneously integrating individual software solutions into this ecosystem.
